The 15th Annual General Meeting of 2023 was held on 18 March 2023 to conclude a year of fulfilling activities.
National President, Asst. Prof. Sudesh greeted all members of UPF Malaysia. He spoke about the transition of UPF events from online to hybrid and to physical events in 2022. He mentioned that National Unity is the key force to propel our country forward and applauded the accomplishments of UPF Malaysia in 2022 as a result of the dedicated efforts of all UPF members.
Mr. Ng Shu Lin (Nick), Secretary of UPF Malaysia, guided the flow of the AGM. Pn Sri Sarasa Pasamanickam, State Chair of Johor Chapter, Mdm Shanta represented by Ms. Tan Yee Wen, State Chair of Selangor Chapter, Mr. Letchumanan Doraisamy, State Chair of Perak Chapter and Mr. Alagesan Ayaru, State Chair of Penang Chapter presented their activities report from the respective states. Council member, Ms. Tan Wan was invited to present on the activities organised by UPF Malaysia’s headquarters while Mr. Lai Peng Keong presented on the UPF International Highlights. Mr. Teo Siz Boon (Simon), Treasurer of UPF Malaysia, presented the accounts report.
A certificate of appreciation was presented by President and Secretary to the UPF Malaysia Committee 2020-2022 to appreciate their hard work and contributions. A new UPF Committee for 2023-2025 was elected.
